"The Diana" 5 hour tour with dinner at Trekroner Fortress is the tribute to the original Hey Captain vibe of being friends on a boat. It includes the best elements of seeing the gems of the harbor, getting together with social sailing, and ending with a dinner at a unique location.

Based on thousands of tours we have created what we believe is the ultimate social sailing experience ending with dinner at Trekroner Fortress.
What we will do
The Diana is our signature tour, named after the orginal first boat which led to the founding of Hey Captain. After thosands of hours on the water we have put together what we believe is the ultimate social sailing experience. We will have some relaxing time together on the water covering cool gems, and ending on the small island of Trekroner where we will eat a family style dinner. Your captain on the day will talk to you about the specific route and tailor it to your interests. There is time for covering the inner harbor and most of the sights in the north within the given timeframe. In total we divide the time so there is about 3 hours on the water and 2 hours on the island before slowly heading home as the sun sets.
It's a Semi-Interactive Social Sailing Tour
This tour is semi-interactive, which means guests will be involved, as if we were “friends on a boat”, it's part of what we call Social Sailing. This means you as a guest will be an intergrated part of the tour - of talking about what we see on the way, doing the morrings on the boat, and helping getting the last 5% of the dinner ready when we get to Trekroner. Like friends in a somehouse there will be a need for making a fire, getting some drinks ready, and finalize the table, which you as guest will be helping out with. Part of the reason we do this is because we believe in breaking down barriers between people, and interacting around something helps achieving this. If you are scared of interaction don't worry too much as there is also plenty of time to sit back and relax and simply enjoy the evening.
Family Style Dinner at Trekroner Fortress
Unique location
Dinner is in collaboration with Trekroner Fortress, who normally only do unique events like weddings. Trekroner island is situated at Copenhagen’s harbour entrance. Founded in 1713, its an island that has had an eventful history and now serves as a hidden gem of Copenhagen that is only accessible by boat. The style will be relaxed atmosphere and based around multiple sharing platters. We specifically designed it this way to create an environment that foster informal social interaction, and let guests socialize.

Sourdough bread from stone oven with butter and tapenade (V)
Creamy butterbeans with crunch and herb oil (V)
Burrata with aromatic herbs and aged vinegar (V)
Salmon carpaccio with caramelized lemon, pickled onions, and small leaves
Grilled marinated vegetables with cheese, parsley and olive oil (V)
Panzanella – Tuscan bread salat with ripe tomatoes and basil (V)
Cured serrano ham with artichokes and salted almonds
Cold veal cuts with a creamy tuna sauce, capers, and black olives
Marinated shrimps with warm chili, potatoes and pimentos

Crusty quiche with creamy seasonal mushrooms and greens (V)
S´mores – marshmallows to grill over bonfire with butter biscuits and dark chocolate
1300 DKK per person - incl. boat tour and dinner
Drinks
You can decide on the day if you want to go by the glass or take the drinks menu.
Non-alcoholic - lemonade, water, soda
Alcoholic - by the glass starting at 40 DKK per glass
or
Drinks menu - 4 glasses - DKK 300,- per person
On the boat:
2 glasses of rose wine, or
Local craft beer Golden Lager or IPA
During dinner:
2 glasses of white/red wine
Chardonnay or Riesling
Pinot Noir
Return trip on the boat:
Coffee and a selection of tea
For safety reasons there is a maximum of 5 drinks per person, and you cannot bring your own drinks.
Practicalities
Minimum 12 guest to run
The experience requires a minimum of 12 guests to run e.g. 1 full boat.
Multiple boat tours
If you are more than 12 guests we do it with multiple boat where we sail along together in separate boats. Write us a request for availability.
